Coming soon to a Tweet near you!

Ever had issues with trying to track twitter traffic to your site? Guess what you’re not alone!

introducing twitter analytics

Twitter is a key tool in your social media toolbox regardless of your business. Generally speaking you’d use a bit.ly address to track your tweets, however there’s a somewhat of a discrepancy between what bit.ly says my twitter traffic is and what my website analytics says my twitter traffic is.

Introducing Twitter Analytics (can you say it’s about time!).

Currently being rolled out to a pilot group, the product promises to track these types of stats and should be available to us regular folks in the next few weeks (YAY!).

  • See the amount of traffic being sent your website from Twitter
  • Understand just how much of your site content gets shared across Twitters network
  • Measure the effectiveness of your Tweet Button integration (really valuable!)

Excited?  I knew you’d be! :)

Market Me Suite Social Media Management Tool is now… FREE?

Just got off of a little webinar training with my friends over at StomperNet where they were reviewing the Market Me Suite. For those of you not familiar with this product is a powerful social media management tool that up until recently would set you back around $150 if memory serves me correct.

I’ve been a periodic user of the MarketMe Suite for just over a year now, having made the switch from a competitor of theirs that was recently acquired by twitter (no names) ;) . Like most tools that I purchase I like to try to get around with minimal guidance and learn on the fly through trial and error (my wife would call this being hard headed… I call it my manly instinct). Regardless I was extremely satisfied with the feature set offered by this tool, but I was always left with a feeling that I wasn’t using the social media management suite to it’s fullest potential. Can you now figure out why I was on the StomperNet call?

Well it just finished and if I had to choose one word to describe what I just learned, it would have to be… IMPRESSIVE! I can’t believe what’s been sitting on my Mac for the past year and that many of the daily tasks that I run for my clients can be done with the click of a button through this application.

These guys blew me away, so I decided that I’m going to put together a little video training series where I walk you through some of the features that I’ve been using with MarketMe Suite as well as some of the more advanced features that I learned from today’s call.

If you’re seriously considering playing in the social media game, I highly recommend this tool!

Get started now fill out the form below – it’s Free. (There’s no catch and no annoying sales rep will contact you ;) )

Important Facebook Change – Friends can check me in to places

Important Facebook change I strongly recommend you implement… like RFN!

Need to turn off the ability for friends to check you into places (imagine the impact of having “friends” check you into a strip club or other embarrassing place when you weren’t even there!)

To do so, go to Account > Privacy > Things Others Share > Friends can check me in to places > Edit Settings > Disable

I recommend you do this NOW!
